I discovered the Inn Group, back in September 2011, just a few months before my son was born. A networking group with a purpose, that also met at a fabulous mexican restaurant? Yes, please.
I fell in love with this group of people – such a diverse and intelligent group of mostly women and a few men. The Inn Group didn’t have it’s own website at the time – just an info page on the restaurant’s website, and a PayPal registration form. I wanted to help this group, so I offered to make a website for the group.
Simple navigation is one of the hallmarks of websites I create. I know there’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to find the information you’re looking for because the navigation is confusing.
The theme for this site is a customized iThemes Builder child theme. Other features of the site include Gravity Forms/PayPal integration with the ability to use coupons for special members, and the ability for members to edit their contact information (directory coming soon.)
With the ease that WordPress and GravityForms offers, the managers of the Inn Group are able to maintain the site and duplicate the registration form for each event so they can track attendees and registrations.
