Product Review: Tungle
What is Tungle?
“Tungle.me is a [free] scheduling application that syncs with your existing calendar.” (from Tungle.me)
How I use Tungle?
I came across Tungle when I wasn’t even looking for a service to do what it does, but I loved it so much, I signed up for it right away, and I use it all the time to schedule everything from meetings and conference calls, especially when they involve more than just me and one other person.
Why I love Tungle
- Tungle doesn’t make people sign up for an account to schedule a meeting with you. You have to have an account to send the meeting requests and such, but those meeting with you will not be forced to endure a sign-up process
- Tungle syncs with just about everything. I can sync it with my Outlook, Google, Blackberry, and Facebook calendars. There are lots of other options, too, like Entourage, Plancast, TripIt, and most smart phone platforms.
- Tungle gives you a custom URL that you can put on your website, Facebook page or in your email signature for people that want to schedule a consultation from you.
- The custom URL is really cute/cool – tungle.me/username. So, mine is tungle.me/torlowski
- Did I mention it’s free?
